Prince Edward Island releases its latest draw for three economic class immigration programs as on 20th February 2020

Candidates from three economic class immigration categories got lucky this 20th February 2020 as Prince Edward Island chose 153 aspirants from Express Entry Category, Labour Impact Category and Business Impact Category for Canada PR through Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program.
Out of all the 153 invitations, 143 went to candidates from Express Entry category and Labour Impact category which indeed is a great news for aspiring applicants and existing applicants as well, as this has raised hopes for aspirants and fulfilled the dreams of existing candidates.
Express Entry Category
Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program’s Express Entry category is directly linked to IRCC’s Express Entry System which handles pool of candidates for three economic Immigration categories namely Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program and Canadian Experience Class.
All Express Entry candidates first needs to create profile in the Express Entry pool where Comprehensive Ranking system scores are assigned to them on the basis of their personal details like age, qualification, experience, language proficiency, job offer etc.. All candidates awarded with an invitation from any province gives away an additional 600 points toward their CRS score efficiently guaranteeing an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from IRCC, Canada in the upcoming Express Entry draw.
to be able to be considered for PEIPNP, all Express Entry applicants needs to create an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile with PEI PNP. EOI profiles are granted points according to province’s point calculator specially tailored according to the requirements of the province where maximum scoring candidates are then invited to apply through monthly draws.
Labour Impact Category
Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program’s Labour Impact Category also had a share in the total ITA’s granted in the latest draw. This category is for candidates with a valid job offer and support from their employers. It is segregated into three different streams namely Skilled Worker, Critical Worker, and International Graduate. candidates from this category also needs to submit an Expression of Interest profile to be eligible for PEIPNP through Labour Impact Category.
PEI PNP do not provide a breakdown of how many Express Entry and Labour Impact candidates were invited, nor the minimum EOI score required for each category.
Business Impact Category
Candidates from Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program’s Business Impact Category were issued 10 invitations with an Expression of Interest Profile in the Business Impact: Work Permit Stream with minimum EOI score of 122 or more.
This Stream is for entrepreneurs who wish to own and operate a business in PEI.
