Points that are awarded based on this selection factor are given for having a strong connection to the provinces labour market that shows the intent and ability to settle and help in the economic development of the province as a PR.

For candidates to apply for SINP provincial nomination, under International Skilled Worker Category they must the following minimum requirements:
Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker’s Expression of Interest (EOI) is the point grid system with a maximum of 10 points awarded based on the selection factors. For a candidate to be eligible to apply under Express Entry or Occupation in-demand sub-category, they must score a minimum of 60 points.
Out of 10 points, 70 are awarded to the candidates based on the Labour Market Success factors:
Remaining 30 points are awarded to the candidate based on the factor “Connection to Saskatchewan. To get points under “Connection to Saskatchewan”, the candidate must have a close family relative in the province, past student experience in the province or past work in Saskatchewan.
Applying for Canada PR Visa through SINP is a simple two-step process:
Step #1: Apply online through the OASIS portal for SINP. SINP will review your application and on the successful assessment of the application, you will be given a provincial nomination certificate.
Step #2: With your provincial nomination certificate, you can now submit your application for Canada PR Visa to the Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC). IRCC will evaluate your application which can take around 6 to 8 months to process. On the positive evaluation of the application, you will be given the Canada PR Visa.
