On December 19, 2023, the most recent British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) draw issued over 230 invitations for permanent residency (PR) through targeted draws.
A total of 107 invitations were extended in a focused BC PNP draw, specifically for 35 tech occupations, encompassing all BC PNP Skills Immigration streams and Express Entry streams. The cutoff score experienced a marginal increase of 1 point compared to the previous tech-targeted invitation round by BC PNP.
Furthermore, 62 invitations were allocated to individuals with experience as early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202).
In a distinctive move, a new category-based draw by British Columbia targeted only 32 applicants with expertise in 25 construction occupations, setting the cutoff score at 75.
Additionally, 29 invitations were directed towards profiles in 39 healthcare-related occupations.
In summary, the December 19 draw exhibited a diversified approach, encompassing various occupations and categories within the BC PNP.
