Provincial Nominee Program permits the contributing nine provinces and territories to call eligible skilled workers and economic immigration candidates for Canada PR. Each province somehow manage an extended stream associated to the Express Entry System letting the province to select candidates with a profile in the Express Entry pool. An invitation from any of the province somehow guarantees an Invitation to apply in the approaching Express Entry Draw.

Alberta
An awesome news for aspiring applicants for the year 2020 is the most brightest ray of hope shown in the year 2019 by Alberta emerging as one of the most active province under the Provincial Nominee Program. The pathway allows the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) to find eligible candidates from the Express Entry pool having strong ties to Alberta or who can sustain government’s monetary growth and diversification priorities.
A total 6,884 Express Entry candidates has been invited by AINP to apply Canada PR through provincial nomination over the course of 31 selection rounds in 2019. Five out of these selection rounds had a minimum CRS score ranging between 300 – 400.
Saskatchewan
Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program’s linked Express Entry category has released more than 5,000 invitations to eligible express entry candidates to apply Canada PR through Provincial Nominee Program. To be eligible under this program an individual needs to register an Expression of interest with Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program having work experience in any of the professions in the in-demand occupation list related to their field of study.
The major improvement observed in this pathway in the year 2019 is the change imbibed by the Saskatchewan government from the In-Demand Occupation List to an Excluded Occupation List resulting in expansion of the occupation list creating more and more frequency in the draws. After the change was executed 3,800 Express Entry candidates were invited to apply Canada PR through PNP.
Nova Scotia
Nova Scotia located on the Atlantic coast of Canada was the dark horse in the race of invitations. The province issued frequent draws through its Labour Market Priorities Stream inviting more and more eligible Express Entry candidates. The stream gives permission to the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) to look for eligible candidates from the Express entry pool with experience in any of the occupation fulfilling the Labour shortage of the province.
NSNP used its Labour Market Priorities Stream eight times in the preceding year inviting assorted professionals from the Express Entry pool. The major occupations that got lucky in the year 2019 were financial auditors and accountants, registered nurses, social workers, early childhood educators, advertising, marketing or public relation professionals and some others building up a scope for other professions in the year 2020 as well.
