Great News for hopeful applicants of Canada PR, waiting to apply through Provincial Nominee Program, Ontario’s latest announcement has given a ray of encouraging anticipation to applicants with an express entry profile but CRS score less than 400 points.
As per the latest update in the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP), the minimum requirement of Comprehensive Ranking System score for its Express Entry- Human Capital Priorities immigration stream has been revised and will now be decided by the director. The Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP) is one of the most dynamic and prevalent immigration pathways. It permits the OINP program to search the federal Express Entry pool for candidates who match the stream’s established eligibility criteria.
In the last three draws in this year, two draws only targeted Express Entry candidates with a job offer in Ontario and one draw targeted those with French language abilities of CLB 7 or higher. To be eligible under these two criteria’s Ontario has dropped the CRS minimum score to 350. Ontario has issued a total of 3,534 Notifications of Interest to selected Express Entry candidates through the HCP in 2018.
Express Entry candidates who receive an Invitation to apply from Ontario are given an additional 600 points immediately towards their CRS score.
