Ontario Issues 2,699 Permanent Residency Invitations in 4 New OINP Draws

On December 5, 2023, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted its new draw, inviting 2,699 invitations to apply for permanent residency under four new rounds of invitations.
A total of 761 immigrants were invited under the OINP Foreign Worker stream targeting profile with job offers, and under the skilled trade occupations, 61 immigrants were invited and a score of 34 and above.
In the latest draw for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) Foreign Worker stream, 1,663 invitations were issued to candidates who have a job offer in one of the 40 healthcare or 15 technology occupations specified later in this article. These candidates were required to have a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 43 or higher.
Also, an additional 262 invitations were extended through the OINP In-Demand Skills stream. This stream is designed for candidates with experience in 22 specific in-demand occupations, and they were required to have a CRS score of 30 or above to be eligible for consideration.
