IRCC kick starts the invitation rounds by releasing the first cut off of the year 2019

Canadian government started the year with a remarkable bang by issuing 3,900 invitations to apply to candidates with scores of 449 or above as on 10th January 2019. The number of invitations issued with this cut off release was marked as the notable point in the five years history as this is the first time that this many invitations has been issued in the very first draw of the year. This comes as positive news for aspiring applicants who can now hoist their hopes of acquiring a Canada PR Visa.
Candidates of Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program and Canadian Experience Program, all three Federal Skilled Immigration Program sub-categories run under the Express Entry System pool. Out of which the best way to apply Canada PR for Indians is Federal Skilled Worker Program. To be eligible under this program you need to qualify two point calculators – FSWP point calculator for which 67 is the minimum eligibility score out of 100 and Express Entry point calculator for which there is no eligibility score but a cut off that is released twice every month of a year.
Under both the point calculators points are assigned on 4 major factors that includes age, qualification, work experience and most important language proficiency.
Under Canada’s new multi-year immigration levels plan, Canada’s government strategizes to invite more and more skillful candidates as permanent residents in the coming years. Canada has an admission target of 81,400 through various programs for the year 2019.
