In the recent announcement made by the respective department responsible of immigration and citizenship of Canada, they are about to welcome 1 million fresh immigrants within the next 3 years. Currently they are targeting about 2.5 lac immigrants in 2017 which will be increased to more than 3 lac immigrants in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
The exact figure shown by the Canadian government in numbers is 3,10,000 immigrants for 2018, 3,30,000 immigrants for 2019 and increased it further to 3,40,000 immigrants for the year 2020. These numbers are including the applicants of both the Express Entry System and other Provincial Nominee Programs.
