Canada conducts the largest Express Entry Draw ever as on 19th February 2020, issuing 4,500 invitations in one go!!

Great news for all aspirants planning to apply Canada PR through Express Entry System, IRCC, Canada breaks all records and issues 4,500 invitations in the latest and the largest draw released ever since Express Entry System has been launched. Comprehensive Ranking System Draw of 470 released as on 19th February 2020 is a decrease of 2 points over the previous draw held as on 5th February 2020. This draw is the 4th of the year 2020 bringing in the total number of ITAs issued this year to 14,800. In order to reach this year’s 85,800 ITA target for new permanent resident admissions, the government needs to issue more and more invitations in every draw.
Express Entry System is the best and the most appropriate category to apply for, as it handles and takes care of pool of candidates from three major immigration categories namely Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and Canadian Experience Class. All suitable candidates entering the Express Entry pool are ranked on the basis of the scores secured in the Comprehensive Ranking System according to the factors such as Age, Qualification, Work Experience, Language Proficiency etc.. A fixed number of candidates with high scores are issued an ITA for Canada PR through draws conducted fortnightly for candidates from all three Express Entry linked immigration categories.
Applications processed through the Express Entry System has the minimum processing time of 6 months wherein job offer is no where a mandatory requirement but possessing one, awards you with extra points towards the CRS points.
The tie break applied in the February 19 draw was January 13, 2020 at 10:52:52 UTC showing that all candidates with minimum CRS scores of 470 or above who filed their profile in the Express Entry pool before this date and time, received an ITA.
