Once again Saskatchewan has proved itself to be one of the most dynamic provinces of Canada by issuing 576 invitations to candidates from Express Entry and Occupations in Demand categories for Canada PR through Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program as on 27th February 2020. To be eligible to get selected candidates needs to submit an Expression of Interest profile with SINP to ensure with the fact that the selected candidates will be able to sustain themselves in the province to apply Canada PR through PNP.
All individuals aspiring to apply through SINP must first create an EOI profile to show their capacity and capability to settle into life in Saskatchewan by recording their work experience, education, language ability, age, and connections to the province. On the basis of these factors candidates are awarded scores out of 100 on the International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid wherein the highest scoring candidates are then issued an Invitation to apply for Canada PR through PNP. The minimum score required in the February 27 draws was 69 for both sub-categories.
The best thing to apply under the SINP program is that Job Offer or Arranged Employment is not at all a mandatory requirement and also that candidates with one year of experience in eligible skilled occupation related to their field of study can also apply and receive an ITA under this program.
The major number of invitations went away to candidates with profiles in the Express Entry Pool. In the latest draw, out of 576 invitations, 301 invitations were grabbed by the candidates with an active Express Entry Profile.
Saskatchewan’s Express Entry sub-category is allied to the federal Express Entry system wherein pool of candidates for three main economic class immigration program namely Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Class and Canadian Experience class are managed.
If any candidate scores the minimum cut off points of 69 released in the latest SINP draw then they have been lucky enough to attain an ITA in this draw. All the candidates with an ITA are given away additional 600 points toward their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score effectively ensuring an invitation to apply for Canadian permanent residence in the upcoming CRS draw released by IRCC, Canada.
All candidates can apply their Canada PR through this category of SINP as it is open to all immigration candidates who do not have an active Express Entry Profile. Out of all the 576 invitations issued, 275 invitations went to candidates from Occupations In-Demand sub category.
**The only thing common in both Express Entry and Occupations in Demand categories is that all the candidates applying Canada PR through SINP requires to match the cut-off released by the government of Saskatchewan to be eligible for an ITA. The cut off for this draw is 69 out of 100.
